Great News for Social Media Industry. Companies are getting Social Media friendly, and are also getting open to giving advertisement in these sites.
Even after fighting for long, all major social media sites (Youtube, Orkut, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter) are not profitable and are living on investors money. They all have a hope of making money one day.
But things might change now! A news on Financial Times say, 80% of US advertisers are using Facebook to promote their business. Wow!
If the news is true, Facebook should be turning profitable anytime soon. This must increase hope for other Social Media services also. Lets hope all of them better their services, and continue serving free.
After Facebook, Will Twitter be next? Can it make money with its current advertisement unfriendly look? Or Will Twitter change for its good? Will have to wait and see.

Our Client, spends money heavily on Facebook and the conversion rate is better than adwords too…

There is a lot of talk about Facebook becoming the new Google in the sense that you will search the “social web” for recommendations instead of depending on a search bot to tell you what you are looking for. It’s an exciting thing to watch, for sure.
