There is a phishing site http://blogger.djhxkcs.com/, which has exactly same look and feel like Twitter. The motive behind is unknown. Mostly these type of phishing sites are created to hack the account password and other information.

When I tried logging in with fake user id and password, the site took me to the ‘Twitter Overcapacity Page’. The page looked very similar to that of Twitter’s. When I clicked ‘Home’ at the page, it redirected me to Twitter.com. The attacker seems to be very cautious and has given his best to fool people giving them false impression of being at Twitter all the time.
One More Reason to Hate Internet Explorer
I tried opening the site in 3 browsers, and Microsoft’s IE directly took me to the site while Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox gave a phishing page warning.
Here are the warning notices I received from Chrome and Firefox. First one from Firefox.

Ending Thoughts
Take proper care while opening the sites, and type the site name and not click on links sent by others while opening the popular sites. If you have any doubt of using such phishing site, first thing you got to do is to change the password. And if you are not able to change the password, report the case to Twitter (or any other site) as soon as possible.
Next security step you can take is to stop using IE and move to Firefox or Chrome.
