Google Buzz might have created the buzz but it still needs a lot of work done on it. Most of the people are complaining about the number of completely unknown people following them. Lets face it, not everyone is going to find Buzz very useful. Since many use Gmail as a mail service and wouldn’t want to interact with all the people they mail on an ongoing basis. If you dont want to use Buzz you can turn it off and let it not affect your inbox at all.
All you need to is go to the end of the page and “Turn off Buzz”
Once you click on this, Buzz will be removed more the left side bar and you wont receive any updates as well.
If at any point you wish to enable it again, you will find the “turn on buzz” at the bottom of the page. Clicking on that will bring Buzz back to your Gamil.

Um, no. Turning Buzz “off” only hides it. You still follow other people, they still follow you, and Google keeps on adding to your posts. So even with your Buzz “turned off”, random people who YOU DON’T KNOW get updated whenever you add stuff to your Google Reader list.
Piece of junk, if you ask me. I don’t use facebook because I don’t trust them. I thought I could trust Google and their “don’t be evil” stuff. I was wrong. Now why on earth am I still using Gmail?…
